Wellbeing Days at Bapaume Truck House
Bapaume, France
Save the Date: Two Inspiring Days Dedicated to “Park Safe” and the “Home Away from Home” Vision
We are delighted to announce the next beautiful stop in the 2026 European Wellbeing Initiative (Ewellin): Wellbeing Days at Bapaume Truck House – the award-winning, state-of-the-art secure parking hub that has just been named European Truck Parking of the Year 2026.
Powered by ESPORG and launched with the support of the European Commission and more than 150 stakeholders, Ewellin is a gentle, people-first movement that places the health, safety, happiness, and resilience of professional drivers at the heart of European transport.
This Year’s Campaign Focus: “Park Safe” – Dedicated to Parking Operators and the “Home Away from Home” Concept
2026 is the year of the “Park Safe” awareness campaign, fully dedicated to parking and rest areas. Together with our partners, we are warmly promoting the “Home Away from Home” vision — turning parking facilities into welcoming, supportive spaces where drivers can truly rest, recharge body and mind, and feel genuinely cared for on their journeys.
Bapaume Truck House perfectly embodies this dream. Fresh from winning the prestigious European Truck Parking of the Year 2026, this modern facility shows how safety, comfort, and wellbeing can come together in one outstanding location.
Why Bapaume Truck House? A True Service Hub for Drivers
Strategically located in Bapaume (Pas-de-Calais) at the crossroads of the A1, A2, and A26 motorways, Bapaume Truck House offers 303 secure parking spaces along the vital North Sea–Mediterranean corridor. Designed as a fully automated, high-security complex with advanced access control, 24/7 guarding, modern sanitary facilities, relaxation areas, and driver comforts, it was co-funded by the European Union through the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF).
This award-winning site transforms a simple stop into a genuine destination where drivers can rest with dignity and peace of mind. It proudly aligns with the highest EU Parking standards and actively supports the Ewellin Wellbeing Programme.
Meet the Bapaume Truck House Team
This special event is proudly hosted by the dedicated team at Bapaume Truck House. Key members include:
