Wellbeing Days in
Bucharest, Romania
Join us on October 14th at TransLogistica in Bucharest, Romania, for the “Drive Safe, Park Safe, Work Safe, Live Well” initiative, dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of professionals in the transport and logistics sector. This important event addresses critical challenges surrounding safety, health, and job satisfaction for drivers and logistics workers throughout Europe.
The Wellbeing Campaign spans four years and features thematic events that connect authorities, lorry companies, parking facilities, and drivers. Each event includes formal segments with workshops and panels, followed by interactive activities to engage participants. This initiative demonstrates how prioritizing wellbeing enhances job performance and productivity across the transport sector in various European countries.
This event marks a significant collaboration with the Union of Freight Forwarders in Romania (USER), a pivotal organization dedicated to advancing the interests of freight forwarders and promoting best practices within the industry. USER is committed to improving working conditions and advocating for the rights of transport professionals, making it an ideal host for this event. Their active involvement ensures that the voices of drivers and logistics workers are heard and addressed effectively.
TransLogistica is a premier event venue in Romania dedicated to the transport and logistics industry, serving as a hub for innovation and collaboration. Hosting our Wellbeing Event at TransLogistica provides a unique opportunity to bring together key stakeholders in the sector, fostering discussions that can lead to meaningful changes in the industry.
The European Wellbeing Initiative encompasses several key components designed to enhance the wellbeing of transport professionals and promote a culture of safety and health within the industry:
- Wellbeing Pledge: A commitment made by organizations and individuals within the transport sector to prioritize the health and safety of drivers and logistics workers. By signing this pledge, participants affirm their dedication to creating supportive environments that foster physical and mental wellbeing.
- Wellbeing Campaign: “Drive Safe, Park Safe, Work Safe, Live Well” aims to address the multifaceted challenges faced by drivers and logistics workers, emphasizing the importance of adopting safe practices to improve job performance and productivity.
- “Home Away from Home” Concept: This concept focuses on creating safe and comfortable resting places for drivers on the road, reducing stress and improving their mental and physical wellbeing.
- Wellbeing Label: A certification awarded to organizations that meet specific criteria related to driver wellbeing, recognizing and promoting best practices in health and safety.
All of these components are powered by ESPORG (The European Secure Parking Organisation), which plays a crucial role in advocating for safe and secure parking solutions while supporting the broader objectives of the European Wellbeing Initiative.
At this event, industry leaders, policymakers, and wellbeing advocates will engage in discussions on the current state of the transport sector and the initiatives needed to improve working conditions for drivers. Topics will include job attractiveness, support for women in transport, regulatory frameworks, insurance perspectives, and safe parking solutions.
Additionally, this event provides a great opportunity to sign the Wellbeing Pledge live, demonstrating your commitment to promoting the wellbeing of drivers in the transport sector.
Be part of this crucial conversation and contribute to shaping the future of wellbeing in the transport and logistics industry. Together, we can drive change and make a meaningful impact on the lives of transport professionals.
