Ewellin at Mega Trucks Festival
Drive Safe, Park Safe, Work Safe, Live Well!
Health Check-Up Initiative at Mega Trucks Festival 2025
During the Wellbeing Campaign’s participation at the Mega Trucks Festival 2025 (6–7 December, Brabanthallen, ’s-Hertogenbosch), we offered complimentary health check-ups to voluntary professional drivers in collaboration with our Wellbeing Partners.
Nearly 50 drivers participated, receiving personalised health assessments and immediate feedback from qualified professionals (including aspects of nutrition, rest, physical fitness, and general wellness).
Key Details on the Health Check-Ups:
Participation: Voluntary and free of charge, open to professional drivers attending the event.Focus Areas: Basic screenings and consultations covering vital signs, lifestyle factors (e.g., diet, sleep, exercise), and early indicators for common driver-related health concerns such as fatigue, musculoskeletal issues, and cardiovascular health.Outcomes and Feedback: Each participant received tailored advice and recommendations to support better health on the road. Common themes included tips for improved nutrition, stretching exercises for long-haul drives, and strategies for better rest at secure parking areas.Impact: Drivers expressed appreciation for the proactive support, with many noting it as a valuable reminder to prioritise their wellbeing amid demanding schedules. No aggregated statistical results (e.g., averages or specific diagnoses) are available for public sharing, as individual consultations were confidential and focused on personal empowerment rather than data collection.
This initiative highlighted the campaign’s commitment to practical, on-site support for drivers. Feedback from participants will help refine future events.
