The Wellbeing Days at Mowiz TRUCK in Astigarraga, Gipuzkoa, Spain, were a dynamic two-day event aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of truck drivers.
The first day featured a formal agenda where around 150 participants gathered to engage in meaningful panel discussions and demonstrations. Attendees included local authorities, representatives from logistics and recruiting companies, training schools, transport associations, public road transport operators, parking operators, drivers, health specialists, and IT professionals. This interdisciplinary gathering marked a significant milestone, focusing on the impact of wellbeing on road safety and vice versa. Participants shared insights and strategies to improve working conditions for drivers, all dedicated to making a positive impact on their wellbeing.
The second day shifted to a more interactive format, encouraging direct engagement with professional drivers through various activities. The theme centered on physical exercise, nutrition, hydration, sleep hygiene, and road safety, with a full agenda designed to promote health and wellness.
Highlights of the day included:
- Wellbeing Active Zone: Offering a barber shop, express massages, physiotherapy, stretching sessions, and health check-ups, all aimed at promoting physical wellness.
- Functional Training and Zumba Classes: Energizing group sessions that encouraged participants to stay active.
- Popular Lunch: Featuring delicious paella and healthy options, fostering a sense of community among attendees.
- Darts and FIFA Video Game Tournaments: Engaging activities that provided fun and friendly competition.

It offers clean, welcoming amenities, including relaxing areas, an on-site restaurant with freshly cooked meals, and a shop for essential supplies. Mowiz TRUCK – Astigarraga has also been honored with the ESPORG Excellence in Truck Parking Award, highlighting its commitment to high standards in parking services and driver wellbeing.
