Save the Date: Three Special Days Dedicated to “Park Safe” and Creating a True Home Away from Home

We are thrilled to announce a highlight of the 2026 European Wellbeing Initiative (Ewellin) calendar: Wellbeing Days at Hesbymazout – Truck Park Liège, one of Belgium’s newest and most modern secure truck parking facilities.

Powered by ESPORG and launched with the support of the European Commission and more than 150 stakeholders, Ewellin is a gentle, people-first movement that places the health, safety, happiness, and resilience of professional drivers at the heart of European transport.

This Year’s Campaign Focus: “Park Safe” – Dedicated to Parking Operators and the “Home Away from Home” Concept

2026 marks a special chapter in the Ewellin journey: the “Park Safe” awareness campaign, fully dedicated to parking and rest areas. Together with our partners, we are actively promoting the beautiful “Home Away from Home” vision — transforming parking facilities into welcoming, supportive spaces where drivers can truly rest, recharge their body and mind, and feel genuinely cared for during their journeys.

Hesbymazout is the perfect host for this focus. Their brand-new Truck Park Liège embodies exactly what we dream of: a modern, secure, and driver-friendly environment designed with comfort and wellbeing in mind.

Why Hesbymazout – Truck Park Liège? A New Benchmark in Driver Care

Located at Chaussée Verte 10, 4350 Remicourt (Momalle), just 200 metres from the E40 motorway (Crisnée exit) and only 5 km from Liège-Bierset Airport, this state-of-the-art facility offers 143 secure parking spaces (including spots for mega-trailers, car transporters, and refrigerated trucks) on a 28,000 m² concrete surface.

As an ESPORG Member, Hesbymazout has designed and built Truck Park Liège according to the highest EU-Parking Gold standards. The site features advanced security measures including access control, perimeter fencing, enhanced lighting, cameras, and 24/7 monitoring by an on-site operations team — all aimed at providing drivers with safety, comfort, and peace of mind.

This event is proudly hosted by the dedicated team from Hesbymazout SA (part of the Uhoda Group). Key members include:
• Stéphan Uhoda, CEO of the Uhoda Group – visionary leader driving innovation and expansion in secure parking across Belgium.
• Alain Riskin, General Director of Hesbymazout – passionate advocate for driver comfort, safety, and the development of high-quality rest areas in Wallonia.
• Huguette Nelis, who plays a key role within the Hesbymazout team, contributing to the daily operations and driver-focused initiatives at Truck Park Liège.

Together with their committed on-site operations team, they work every day to make Truck Park Liège a welcoming place where drivers feel valued and supported.

What to Expect on September 11-13 – Wellbeing Days at Hesbymazout

Join us for three uplifting days filled with warmth, practical insights, and shared moments. In the spirit of “Drive Safe, Park Safe, Work Safe, Live Well”, we will explore how parking areas can become true sanctuaries of rest and how small changes can build greater resilience on the road.

Highlights will include:

• Special focus on the “Park Safe” campaign and the “Home Away from Home” concept
• Friendly conversations on physical & mental wellbeing, fatigue prevention, and daily self-care
• Opportunities to experience first-hand a modern, caring rest area
• Networking with drivers, fleet managers, parking operators, and Ewellin partners
