Save the Date: Two Warm Days Dedicated to “Park Safe” and the “Home Away from Home” Vision

We are excited to announce the next beautiful chapter in the 2026 European Wellbeing Initiative (Ewellin): Wellbeing Days at Securit Park in La Crèche, hosted in partnership with Trucks’nB – the innovative network known as the “Airbnb of truck parking”.

Powered by ESPORG and launched with the support of the European Commission and more than 150 stakeholders, Ewellin is a gentle, people-first movement that places the health, safety, happiness, and resilience of professional drivers at the heart of European transport.

This Year’s Campaign Focus: “Park Safe” – Dedicated to Parking Operators and the “Home Away from Home” Concept

2026 continues as the year of the “Park Safe” awareness campaign, fully dedicated to parking and rest areas. Together with our partners, we warmly promote the “Home Away from Home” vision — transforming parking facilities into welcoming, supportive spaces where drivers can truly rest, recharge body and mind, and feel genuinely cared for on their journeys.

Securit Park, part of the Trucks’nB network, is an excellent example of this vision. As the first secure truck parking area in the centre-west of France, it offers a modern, safe, and comfortable stop right where many drivers need it most.

Why Securit Park at La Crèche? A Strategic and Supportive Stop

Located in La Crèche near Niort, Securit Park sits at the strategic junction of the A10 and A83 motorways. This prime position makes it easily accessible for drivers heading north, south, east, or west across France and beyond.

The facility provides 220 secure parking spaces with 24/7 security, including fencing, advanced surveillance, controlled access, and lighting. Drivers can enjoy peace of mind knowing their vehicle, cargo, and fuel are protected while they rest. Additional facilities include clean sanitary areas and showers, helping drivers maintain dignity and comfort during long journeys.

Through its partnership with Trucks’nB, Securit Park is part of a broader network that makes booking simple via a user-friendly app, with features like number plate recognition and 24/7 availability. This combination of high security and practical amenities turns a routine stop into a true opportunity to recharge.

In the spirit of “Drive Safe, Park Safe, Work Safe, Live Well”, we will focus on how secure parking areas can become true sanctuaries of rest and how small, caring steps build greater resilience on the road.

Highlights will include:

• Friendly conversations on physical & mental wellbeing, fatigue prevention, and daily self-care for drivers
• Opportunities to experience first-hand the caring atmosphere and modern facilities at Securit Park
• Networking with fellow drivers, fleet managers, parking operators, and Ewellin partners
